MM Becomes Semi-Finalist in ISC 2013!

I am so excited that my song Just Me and You has been selected as a semi-finalists for the 2012 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). They received over 20,000 entries from 119 countries worldwide.  (This song recently won the Grand Prize at the Dallas Songwriters Association Contest but this another International Competition.) I am very honored because songwriting is another element in music to be respected for.  The list is arranged alphabetically by songwriter's name.

Become a fan of the International Songwriting Competition 2013!

The next step is that this group of semi-finalists will be narrowed down to the finalists who will be sent to celebrity judges. Finalists will be announced at the end of February. Winners will be announced at the end of April.

Thanks for all of your support!

Hi everyone!  This weekend I'm playing the lead role of Janet Van De Graff in The Drowsy Chaperone,  which was played on Broadway by Sutton Foster who is currently the star on Bun Heads on ABC Family.  The cast and I will be competing for a TUTS Tommy Tune Award against all of the High Schools in Houston.  Anyway, we are SO excited!  Check out the video below, it is one of the awesome songs we will be performing with the lifts, cart wheels and high note at the end! Studio VII presents The Drowsy Chaperone

Don't miss the Seven Lakes High School's award winning Studio VII Theatre Company presentation of the wildly funny and entertaining musical within a comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone. Mayhem, mix-ups and a wedding mark the high-spirited hijinks of The Drowsy Chaperone, winner of five 2006 Tony Awards. The fun begins when a die-hard musical fan plays his favorite cast album, a 1928 smash hit called "The Drowsy Chaperone" and the show magically bursts to life. Suddenly the man finds himself immersed in the glamorous, hilarious tale of a celebrity bride and her uproarious wedding day, complete with thrills and surprises that take both the cast and the audience soaring to the rafters.

The performance dates are February 7, 8, and 9 at 7:00 p.m.  There will be an additional matinee performance on February 9, at 2:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $10 for students and $12 for adults if reserved.   At the door the prices are $12 for students and $15 for adults.  Katy ISD Gold cards are $5.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Box Office call (281) 237-2836.
