I have also been busy playing the role of Lucy in the play Dracula.  I had a wonderful cast and crew to work with!!  I loved my role because I got to play opposite of my friend since preschool, Mackenzie Winters, where the chemistry on stage was very easy for us.  It was so fun because I get bitten and turn into a vampire. The most of these pictures are backstage after the show.  One of my cast members, Michael Breath, and I had the pleasure of taking a picture with Bob Bryant, Executive Director for Fine Arts of Katy ISD and Ashley Vann, member of the Katy ISD Board of Trustees.

Recipe For Success

Another event I recently had the pleasure to participate in was the TASA/TASB event held in Dallas, Texas.  Two students were chosen from every Katy ISD school in Theater, Band, Orchestra and the Dance to do an event together.  I had the honor getting to introduce, Mr. Alton Frailey, who was elected President over all of the Texas School Boards but is also our KISD Superintendent.  Bob Bryant, was the director of our show.  It was an amazing experience to get to work with the exceptional talent from around the District!

I have been in the process of working on some new music projects but in the meantime I was voted Homecoming Queen of Seven Lakes High School which was SO EXCITING!  I got to walk out on the football field with my dad which was such a special moment.  The Homecoming King, Angelo Cioffi, and I have been friends since 1st grade when we attended Roosevelt Alexander Elementary.  The two men in the picture have been my Principals every year since I was in 6th grade.  This is a wonderful honor!

Beckendorff JHS Alumni Game

My old Junior High School, Beckendorff JHS, asked me to come sing at the Alumni Game.  It just so happened to be my little brothers last game as point guard for that team in that gym.  This was truly a touching night for my family.  Go Bears!

Sugar Land Skeeters - August 24, 2013

I love singing the National Anthem at the Skeeters games because it has such a small town feel while you are there.  It was so fun meeting some of the players who were so down to earth and nice.  My little brother loves hanging out above where the players are warming up in the bullpen. Thank you for your continued support. You're the best MM's. xoxo Macy

Take a look at my interview with Brittany Darrington from BDTV. I chat about the fine balance between growing stardom and the 'true to herself' approach for family, school and friends. It was great having a chance to sit down and chat with Brittany. Enjoy!
