I am so excited that my song Just Me and You has been selected as a semi-finalists for the 2012 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). They received over 20,000 entries from 119 countries worldwide. (This song recently won the Grand Prize at the Dallas Songwriters Association Contest but this another International Competition.) I am very honored because songwriting is another element in music to be respected for. The list is arranged alphabetically by songwriter's name.

The next step is that this group of semi-finalists will be narrowed down to the finalists who will be sent to celebrity judges. Finalists will be announced at the end of February. Winners will be announced at the end of April.

This just in - Jonathan George and I wrote a song you may have heard of called Just Me and You. This song was recently picked as the Grand Prize Winner of the 2012 Dallas Songwriters Song Contest. The DSA 2012 Song Contest is one of the longest running international song contests for amateur songwriters. I was SO honored to be asked to sing the National Anthem for the USMC Silent Drill Team, honoring all Houston area Operation Enduring Freedom veterans at Katy Rhodes Stadium on October 9th, 2012. This event really touched me and I was so happy to be a part of it. Thank you USMC!
